Astronomical Observation

From Dusk to Moonrise

19:15h – Espazo La Ricotta, As Barreiras (Castro Caldelas, Ourense)

We will enjoy the late-October night sky, observing some bright celestial objects through a telescope between twilight and moonrise, before turning our attention to details of the lunar surface. The observation will be accompanied by explanations of the objects observed and other curiosities.

Note: The quality of the observations depends on various atmospheric conditions, ranging from cloud cover to turbulence in the upper layers of the atmosphere. If, at the last minute, atmospheric conditions do not allow for good observing conditions, the activity will be turned into a planetary session.
